Carmountside Primary Academy

At Carmountside Primary Academy we intend to teach that music is a universal language that interweaves through all areas of the curriculum. The principal aim is to develop children’s knowledge, skills and understanding of music, to inspire pupils to develop a love of music, as well as an understanding and acceptance of the validity and importance of all types of music. Teachers ensure that the children are able to use their musical skills, knowledge, and experiences to involve themselves in music, in a variety of different contexts.
